Since 2004 when we first started selling nuts, chocolates and dried fruits at Yarragon, we attended markets in rail, hail or shine at various locations including Yarragon, Warragul, Longwarry, Inverloch, Mornington and a number of others.
After 17 years of markets, we finally have weekends free! With our last market being in 2021. We have built up our wholesale side of the business, and online orders, to be able to give the markets a miss. They were fantastic for growing our business and meeting many loyal customers. The timing works well for us as both our boys have sport on weekends now.
We still do a delivery run once a month to the West Gippsland area and you can use a discount code for free delivery for that time. If you'd like to be added to our monthly email list to be aware of when our free delivery run is, just email us at info@peninsulanutco.com.au
Below are the markets we used to attend regularly. Great country markets and still worth a visit!
The market is located at the Yarragon Public Hall on Campbell St, Yarragon on the 4th Saturday of each month (except December when it is a Friday twilight).
The market hours are 8am to 1pm.
WARRAGUL MARKET LOCATION
The Warragul market is held outside the Warragul Arts Centre in Civic Place, Warragul. During the warmer months it combines with the Warragul Arts Market and is held on the neighbouring grassland, with a great festive atmosphere. Over the cooler months, it's held on the closed roadway of Civic Place, and with features such as live music, great coffee and chai, ready to eat food by some of the best in the region, organic vegetables, artisan bread, preserves, fresh fruit, plants and much more.
LONGWARRY MARKET LOCATION
The Longwarry market is located on Bennett St, Longwarry, about 3km south of the Longwarry turnoff from the Princes Freeway. Bennett Street runs parallel to the railway line on the south side.
The Longwarry market runs from 8am to 1pm, on the first Sunday of each month (except Jan and Feb).
